The masks turned out to be useless, as was the anti-social distancing. The lockdowns produced record drug overdoses, skyrocketing suicides amongst the young (i.e., those least at risk) as well as mental and physical problems that will probably reverberate for many years to come.

Ineffective Coronavirus Vaccine

On Thursday, United States President Joe Biden was hyping the supposed effectiveness of experimental coronavirus vaccine shots. He claimed in a CNN event that people who take the shots will not “get covid,” “be hospitalized,” “be in an ICU unit,” or “die.” It turns out Biden’s assurance is wrong.
The experimental coronavirus vaccines, some of which are not even vaccines under the normal meaning of the term, are not miracle drugs. Indeed, recent information from Israel, where shots were given very widely and early, indicates that whatever effectiveness the shots may have in countering coronavirus appears to wear off mighty quickly.
Nathan Jeffay provided in a Sunday Times of Israel article some of the details from experience in Israel, where Pfizer-BioNTech provides the “vaccine” of choice. Jeffay relates a new report from health care provider Leumit indicating that “[p]eople vaccinated before late February are twice as likely to catch the coronavirus than other inoculated Israelis.” Further, notes Jeffay, the Israel government’s Health Ministry released data on Thursday suggesting “that people vaccinated in January were said to have just 16% protection against infection now, while in those vaccinated in April the effectiveness was at 75%.”

Information security expert Ehden Biber told America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) Frontline News that the first document to recently emerge was discovered by Albanian newspaper Gogo.al. Biber then was able to locate the digitally-signed Brazilian contract, and at least two others, one with the European Commission, and the other with the Dominican Republic.
AFLDS Chief Science Officer Dr. Michael Yeadon responded to the revelations after perusing the Albania contract, saying it “looks genuine.” He continued: “I know the basic anatomy of these agreements and nothing is missing that I’d expect to be present, and I’ve seen no clues that suggests it’s fake.”

Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate draws postal union backlash

The influential American Postal Workers Union on Wednesday said that at this point, it opposes a coronavirus vaccine mandate from the Biden administration but encouraged workers to voluntarily take the jabs.
“While the APWU leadership continues to encourage postal workers to voluntarily get vaccinated, it is not the role of the federal government to mandate vaccinations for the employees we represent,” the union said in a statement obtained by Fox News.

Two more health systems mandate employee virus vaccinations

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Two of Michigan’s largest health systems will require all employees and physicians at their hospitals and other facilities to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Spectrum Health, a 14-hospital network, and eight-hospital Beaumont Health announced the mandates Wednesday. At least five major hospital systems in the state have announced such requirements.
Grand Rapids-based Spectrum has 31,000 employees. Beaumont, based in Royal Oak, has 33,000 workers. They join the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Livonia-based Trinity Health and Ascension Health, which is headquartered in Missouri but has 15 hospitals in Michigan. About 70% of Spectrum’s onsite staff are vaccinated, a spokesman said.

On Tuesday, the top headlines on the Drudge Report, a popular US news aggregate for trumpeting the liberal party line, captured the full spirit of the ‘new normal’, which the doomsayers fear is snowballing into nothing less than a totalitarian police state:
- ‘CDC recommends vaccinated people wear masks indoors again…’
- ‘Government officials, health groups move to REQUIRE corona vaccines for workers;’
- ‘Maskless will have to wear stickers declaring status?’
- ‘More EU states require passes to enter bars, restaurants.’
And so on, ad infinitum, ad nauseam. Each passing day brings more of the same five-alarm articles about why people should get the jab, wear a mask, remain at home, even avoid casual conversation with their neighbors. At the same time, the media duly sugarcoats the grim prospect of a joyless bureaucratic future when a ‘vaccine passport’ will be required for performing the most mundane activities – shopping, traveling, attending a sporting event or concert – that we all took happily for granted in the ‘old normal’.
Conspicuous by their absence from the news headlines, however, is any sign of opposing voices to the official medical narrative. And that is no accident. Any doctor, activist or health organization that merely hints at an alternative method for tackling the pandemic is smacked down as a quack and dispatched to the sleek new version of Solzhenitsyn’s ‘gulag archipelago’. These are banishment from social media, news media and polite society. In a word, disappeared.

Google and Facebook to require vaccinations for in-office employees, paving the way for rivals to follow

Google on Wednesday became the first Big Tech company to announce that it will require employees who work in its offices to be fully vaccinated. Judge offers an alternative to community service sentences: covid-19 vaccination

“Getting vaccinated is a service to the community,” Judge Crifasi said in a statement.
The covid-19 vaccination giveaways started early in the summer, when the pace of vaccinations first started to fall off. There were gift cards, free trap shooting targets and even the occasional joint. A few months later, with the delta variant spreading and case numbers continuing to rise, a vaccination might now be considered an act of community service.

The judge began offering the alternative earlier this week, amid a surge in case numbers in Louisiana. In that time, roughly 19,000 cases have been reported in the state. These Cities Are Reviving Mask Mandates With New CDC Guidance, Delta Surg

This allegedly Conservative government has been patronising young people with the threat of coercive vaccine passports for over a week. Though I was open to vaccine passports at first, it’s now clear to me that this government is using them to target and mistreat young people. Again.
Since the beginning of this pandemic young people have been let down by the government. I personally lost about half of my university experience to lockdown and this pandemic. It’s ludicrous that students, who have sacrificed their teens and early 20s for this government’s Covid strategy, might now be locked out of lecture theatres. Has our education not suffered enough?

Big Tech could be forced to give up algorithms alongside data and money in data abuse cases, FTC official says

Big Tech companies such as Facebook and Google could be forced to give up proprietary algorithms, at the heart of their business, if they abuse privacy to gather user data, a top official at the Federal Trade Commission said on Tuesday.
The chief technologist at the trade commission, Erie Meyer, said at a privacy conference on Tuesday that tech companies that gather user data illegally could face traditional penalties, such as paying fines and disclosure of data, but also could be forced to give up “algorithms that were juiced by ill-gotten data.”
Meyer said data abuses by Big Tech companies, such as several high-profile incidents in the past few years, don’t happen in a vacuum but rather occur due to incentives to capture more customers and beat out competitors.

CDC says vaccinated people should get tested after being exposed even if they show no symptoms

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said that vaccinated people should get tested for Covid-19 if they have been exposed to the virus, even if they haven’t experienced any symptoms.
The revised guidelines for fully vaccinated people comes the same day that the CDC also returned to urging the fully vaccinated to wear masks indoors in some areas of the US that have high levels of transmission as the Delta variant spreads across the country.
The CDC has previously said that vaccinated people didn’t need to get tested if they had been close to an infected person unless they had symptoms.
The agency also states that masks should be worn regardless of the level of transmission in your area “if you have a weakened immune system or if, because of your age or an underlying medical condition, you are at increased risk for severe disease, or if a member of your household has a weakened immune system”.

There’s more potentially worrisome news for vaccinated people: In very rare cases, people experiencing breakthrough infections may be at risk for long-COVID symptoms. That’s according to a small new study of fully vaccinated health care workers in Israel, published Wednesday in The New England Journal of Medicine.
The study confirmed what’s already known: That it’s very rare for fully vaccinated people to get infected or sick with COVID-19. But it also found lingering COVID symptoms did develop in a handful of breakthrough cases.
Researchers studied 1,497 vaccinated health care workers at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel. Among them, only 39 got infected despite their inoculations. Of those, seven — or about 19% — developed symptoms that lasted at least six weeks, including headaches, muscle pain, loss of taste and smell and fatigue.
“It’s really disturbing,” says Dr. Gili Regev-Yochay, director of the infection, prevention and control unit with the Sheba Medical Center and an author of the study. “If this is what we’re going to see with all of the even mildly symptomatic infections that we’re seeing now, it’s definitely worrisome,” she says.

Merck has donated four billion doses to prevent river blindness and other diseases in Africa and other places where parasites are common. A group of 10 doctors who call themselves the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance have said ivermectin is “one of the safest, low-cost, and widely available drugs in the history of medicine.”

To her five grandchildren, whose teddy bears she lovingly patched up, the sunny Italian emigrant was “Dr. Nonni.” Among her family and friends, Teresa was the one who kept in touch, even from across an ocean, the one who never forgot a birthday or anniversary.
When she was hospitalized with Covid-19 in late 2020, Teresa’s tight-knit network watched her decline week after week through a virtual portal. “She would tell us, ‘I want to come home. I miss everybody,’” Michelle Ciappa, her only daughter, told STAT. “As soon as we hung up, we just fell apart.”
The Ciappas were only allowed at Teresa’s bedside on one occasion, for her last breath. Michelle, who is 45 and lives in Columbus, Ohio, said she wonders whether her mother would have survived Covid-19 if her many loved ones had been able to visit her. “She was alone in a room. That’s the opposite of who she was,” Michelle said. “Just to be there, to give her any comfort, maybe the outcome would’ve been different.”

Woman Allegedly Pepper-Sprays Maskless Mother, Child Over COVID Fears
Police in Seattle arrested a 32-year-old woman on Monday, alleging she pepper-sprayed a mother and her child in an elevator at Pike Place Market.
Officers responded to a report of an assault at the market at around 4:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Seattle Police Department.
They arrived at Pike Place and located the woman, identified as Czarina Slape, pushing a stroller that contained a bottle of bleach and carrying a can of pepper spray.
Pfizer says 2021 COVID-19 vaccine sales to top $33.5 bln, sees need for boosters
Pfizer Inc (PFE.N) on Wednesday raised its full-year sales forecast for the COVID-19 vaccine it developed with Germany’s BioNTech by 29% to $33.5 billion, as nations stock up on doses for the rest of the year.
The company also said it could apply for an emergency use authorization for a potential booster dose as early as August, reiterating that a third shot will likely be needed to enhance protection amid a resurgence in infections in many countries.
WHO doesn’t recommend Covid booster doses right now, citing lack of data
The World Health Organization doesn’t recommend COVID-19 booster shots “at this time,” the group’s top vaccine doctor said Wednesday, citing a lack of data on their effectiveness.
Dr. Kate O’Brien, WHO’s director of immunization, vaccines and biologicals, said the organization is still researching whether a booster shot is needed to increase protection against highly contagious mutations of the coronavirus.
Executives from Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson, which make the three COVID vaccines authorized for use in the U.S., have all said Americans would eventually need a booster following their first series of vaccinations.

‘There Will Be Responsibility for Those Who Funded the Lab’

In a fiery exchange between U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases, Paul held Fauci’s feet to the fire with a warning that it’s time to stop “obfuscating the truth.”
“All the evidence is putting that (COVID-19) came from the lab and there will be responsibility for those who funded the lab, including yourself,” Paul said. Fauci responded that Paul was citing a lie and that he didn’t know what he was talking about.
Not to be undone, Paul responded, “What we’re alleging is the gain-of-function research was going on in that lab and NIH funded it. It meets your definition and you are obfuscating the truth,” Paul slammed back.
Again, Fauci denied Paul’s accusations but, again, Paul stopped Fauci in his tracks: “We’re saying they are gain-of-function viruses, animal viruses that became more transmissible in human,” Paul said, “and you funded it and you won’t admit the truth.”
In a tweet, Paul reiterated that “Dr. Fauci’s NIH did fund the Wuhan Virology Lab,” attaching a photocopy of what he said is “verbatim admission from their chief scientist Dr. Shi Zhengli.”
