Vaccine hesitancy is a big problem, according to the Biden administration. Less than half the public is fully vaccinated while about 56 percent have received at least one jab.
The goal of fully vaccinating the American public appears to have stalled. This should not surprise us. When the vaccines were first approved for emergency use back in December 2020, 40 percent of Americans expressed skepticism about the vaccine.
Trying to shame the holdouts has failed spectacularly. Insulting and degrading them as “morons” or “ignorant” has resulted in a vicious pushback and a hardening of positions on getting vaccinated.

- Effective treatments and preventive protocols are available to children with comorbidities.
- Vaccinating the young is not necessary for herd immunity.

Chance of SARS-CoV-2 Being Infectious on Hospital Surfaces is Very Low
The chances of getting COVID from hospital surfaces is very low, according to new research done at UC Davis Medical Center.
Study results from multiple samples collected from hospital surfaces and air filtration systems showed that only 2% of swabs tested positive in August, compared to 11% of samples collected in April, according to a Newswise press release.
The team was able to obtain viral genome sequences from the samples — a first in this type of research, which allowed them to track the sources of contamination and trace their spread.
“The reduction in the virus contamination was likely due to improved ICU patient management and cleaning protocols,” said Angela Haczku, a respiratory immunologist and senior author on the study. “The ability to identify viral genome sequences from environmental samples may have high public health significance in outbreak surveillance and monitoring the spread of new viral variants.”

UK hospitality industry not sold on government’s plan to require COVID Pass

Pubs, restaurants and nightclubs operators are not planning to turn into coronavirus (COVID-19) police in the UK.
Hospitality chiefs said they do not have the technology to scan COVID vaccine passports and do not know how to check QR codes produced by the National Health Service (NHS) app as proof of double vaccination, immunity or a recent negative COVID test.
UK’s Health Secretary Sajid Javid announced on July 12 that businesses and large events would be “encouraged” to use the NHS COVID Pass in “high risk settings.”

More states BLOCK masks and coronavirus vaccine mandates put in place by schools

More states have banned K-12 schools and universities from requiring Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines and face masks for their students. At least eight states passed laws prohibiting COVID-19 vaccinations or vaccine passports, while at least three states mandated bans on making students mask up on campus. The bans on vaccines and face masks came contrary to federal guidance recommending that unvaccinated students wear masks when in-person classes resume.
In June 2021, Arizona passed laws banning vaccine and mandates at schools and colleges starting in the fall semester. The state’s move stemmed from Arizona State University‘s (ASU) June 14 announcement that unvaccinated students should expect frequent COVID-19 tests and wear masks at all times when fall classes start on Aug. 19. Arizona’s Republican Gov. Doug Ducey did not take too kindly to the announcement, calling it a “bad policy with no basis in public health.”

Bernard LaPierre, 37, who has been a Type 1 diabetic since his childhood, was told in 2019 that his kidneys were failing and he needed to be put on the waiting list for a transplant when he was hospitalized for a major reaction to one of his prescription drugs.
LaPierre’s wife Meagan told LifeSiteNews that she has recently completed most of the tests required for donating one of her own kidneys to her husband and “so far, everything looks good” to allow her to be his living organ donor.
