By a 5 to 3 vote, the board of trustees of San Joaquin Delta College voted on July 6 “to remove the vaccine mandates.” The board opted to “instead implement full social distancing and mask mandates as well as an advisal to faculty, staff and students to get their vaccines.”

Awaited Ivermectin Review Is Out — Findings are positive, but critics still want a randomized controlled trial

Proponents of ivermectin for COVID-19 have long been talking about an expected review and meta-analysis led by Andrew Hill, PhD, of the University of Liverpool.
These results were finally published this week in Open Forum Infectious Diseases, and they’re positive — but they haven’t escaped criticism, and most researchers still want results from a randomized controlled trial.
The review and meta-analysis was conducted as part of the International Ivermectin Project Team from December 2020 to May 2021. Ivermectin proponents said Hill was conducting the analysis for the WHO, but MedPage Today was not able to confirm WHO involvement. Hill did not respond to an email request for comment.

Moderna plans triple vaccine targeting flu, COVID and RSV

Buoyed by the success of its COVID-19 vaccine, Moderna has started a phase 1/2 trials of its mRNA-based shot for seasonal influenza, targeting four different flu strains.
The first patents have now been enrolled into the study of the shot – codenamed mRNA-1010 – which is designed to generate antibodies against influenza A H1N1, H3N2 and influenza B Yamagata and Victoria – all of which are recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Ultimately, the goal is to develop a shot that combines seasonal flu, COVID-19 and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) protection with a single vaccine, said the biotech. It is also looking at including human metapneumovirus (hMPV), another common cause of upper respiratory tract infections.

EU finds potential link between heart inflammation and mRNA COVID shots

Europe’s drug regulator has found a possible link between very rare heart inflammation and COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech (PFE.N), (22UAy.DE) and Moderna (MRNA.O), it said on Friday, stressing that the benefits of the shots outweighed any risks.
The conditions, myocarditis and pericarditis, must be listed as side-effects of the two mRNA vaccines, the safety committee of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) said, adding that such cases primarily occurred within 14 days of inoculation.

Updated CDC schools guidance prioritizes in-person learning, even if all Covid-19 safety measures aren’t in place

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday updated its Covid-19 schools guidance to emphasize in-person schooling is a priority in the fall, regardless of whether all mitigation measures can be implemented.
As K-12 schools will have a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated people, the agency says it’s still necessary to layer strategies such as masking and physical distancing, and most importantly, vaccinations for everyone eligible — people age 12 and older.

Very Few Kids Need to Shield From Covid, Large U.K. Study Finds

Most young people face an “extremely low” risk of illness and death from Covid-19 and have no need to shield from the virus, according to researchers behind a large U.K. study.
The analysis, which its authors say is the most comprehensive on the topic to date, backs up clinical reports that show children and teens are less likely to be hospitalized or face severe effects from the virus. Covid-19 does increase the chance of serious illness in the most vulnerable children — those with complex disabilities and severe existing medical conditions — but even in those cases the risks are smaller compared with adults.
In England, the highest rates of infection in recent weeks were seen in those ages 15 to 29, with the fastest jump in positive cases week-on-week among children ages 5 to 14. With 68% of adults in the U.K. having received at least one shot and more than 50% fully vaccinated, the increase highlights the role children may be playing in transmission.

Pfizer and its partner, BioNTech, announced July 9, 2021, that they plan to seek an emergency use authorization (EUA) for a third dose of their experimental gene therapy COVID-19 “vaccine.” They said they’re basing the request on evidence that you have a greater risk of a COVID infection just six months after your last dose of the vaccine.
But, if you haven’t already gotten it, you shouldn’t even get the second shot, let alone a third, according to Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi, an award-winning microbiologist who co-wrote the book, “Corona, False Alarm?”
Bhakdi has published hundreds of articles in the fields of immunology, bacteriology, virology and in a video tweet, he explains how the spike proteins in the COVID-19 gene therapy work by attaching to the linings of your cells.
The mechanisms of the proteins’ programming then set your cells up to produce more spikes which go into your blood stream, where your lymphocytes try to kill those cells and mount an attack on your blood vessel walls to self-create the antibodies that are supposed to protect you from a COVID infection.
The very design of the vaccination puts you in danger of certain side effects from the very beginning, including abnormal clotting of the blood, he says. After three or four weeks, you will have massive amounts of antibodies that, “and if you dare to repeat this performance and start to put those spikes out into your blood, God help you,” he says.
What will happen after that? The vision is “terrifying,” he says. “I want you to decide not to take the second shot,” as it will put your life in danger.

Arizona attorney general ‘alarmed’ by Biden’s door-to-door vaccination push

Arizona’s attorney general sent a letter to President Biden condemning his new strategy to promote coronavirus vaccines by having representatives go door to door to speak with Americans about getting the shots.
The letter sent by Attorney General Mark Brnovich, first obtained by Fox News, calls the effort “government intrusion into American’s health care privacy.”
“Americans trust medical researchers and their family doctors to provide information and recommendations to make personal decisions but they do not trust government intrusion or the politicization of the health care process,” the letter states.

13-year-old dies in his sleep three days after receiving second dose of Pfizer vaccine
