The recently released emails from White House Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci showed that, at the beginning of the pandemic, a leading virus expert had warned him that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) may have been engineered in a laboratory. Fauci was warned about this while he was publicly disparaging the theory that the coronavirus may have accidentally leaked from a lab in Wuhan.
The hundreds of emails were released as part of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests submitted by mainstream media outlets. They cover the first few months of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. Many of the topics discussed in Fauci’s emails involve the — at the time — ongoing and deteriorating coronavirus situation in the United States.
